Clixbys have worked on 100's of kilometres of forest and private estate roads. We undertake all projects from pre-harvest enabling works, mid harvest repairs, all maintenance works through to complete design and construction. We offer a complete design and build service that includes any tree and vegetation removal, installation of large scale culverts, bridges and road construction and surfacing. Using our aggregate spreader allows us to massively increase the efficiency of surfacing, grading and compacting up to 1000 tonne a day.
We have experience working in bad ground conditions, using tracked equipment to construct roads with minimal damage to the road formation, and using geo-textile fabrics and tensile geo-grid where needed to ensure the road is robust and decreasing the cost of road construction in weak soils.
Using our specialist machinery, we can carry out projects efficiently and to the highest standards. Our tilt-rotators allow us to work in confined, tight areas with minimal damage to our surroundings, as well as cutting down the time it takes to carry out excavations for culverts, road formations and drainage ditches.
